The story
A Manchester favourite returns
The Left Bank Beer Festival takes its name from its home on the Left Bank of the River Irwell, where the People's History Museum tells the story of working people, community and the campaigns that shaped them. It is a fitting setting for CAMRA, a campaign built on protecting pubs and the people who love them.
Returning for the first time in a decade, this reboot is organised by the People's History Museum, in association with the Central Manchester branch of CAMRA, bringing together heritage, community and a shared love of great beer and cider. Whether you are a lifelong member or simply enjoy a good pint in good company, there is a warm welcome waiting for you.

Entry by ticket, both days
Afternoon and evening sessions run on both Friday 9 and Saturday 10 October 2026. Tickets are £20 per session, to be confirmed, with early bird tickets to be announced.

Travel & access
Getting here
The People's History Museum sits on the corner of Left Bank and Bridge Street in Central Manchester, postcode M3 3ER, beside the River Irwell in Spinningfields.
By train
Salford Central is the closest station, around a 3 minute walk across the River Irwell, with Northern services throughout the day. Manchester Victoria, Oxford Road and Piccadilly are all roughly 15 to 20 minutes away on foot.
By tram
The nearest Metrolink stop is St Peter's Square, about a 10 minute walk. Deansgate, Castlefield is around 15 minutes away.
By bus
The nearest stop is Bridge Street, a 2 minute walk. The free Manchester city centre bus stops nearby on Gartside Street, and routes including the 35, 36, 37, 50 and 100 serve the area.
Access
The museum is step free throughout, with lift access to all floors and accessible toilets. Use postcode M3 3ER for sat nav and journey planners.

We are still building the line up. Expect a thoughtfully chosen range of real ales, craft beers, ciders and perries, with something for newcomers and seasoned drinkers alike.
